Grandparents are surely different kinds of people. After all, they lived through many hardships and had to adjust their lives plenty of times. But they’re also crazy about their grandkids .
So is this sassy grandma . Get this — she actually has a ranking system for all her grandbabies that she proudly displays in her house. And for that, she went viral on TikTok. Let’s check this story out.
Mary LaMorte is one cheeky grandma.
And I’m sure she loves all her grandkids equally. Back in 2015, and as a joke, a few of her grandchildren gifted her a board with numbers on it. Then the kids put their pictures next to the numbers as if it was a ranking system.
Now, this grandma wanted to have some fun with it.
So she started arranging the magnetic pictures of her grandkids according to her ranking. You see, it all has to do with their behavior. If grandma deems them well-behaving they go up in their ranking.
Aha! That’s pretty clever, huh?
Mary’s 27-year-old grandson, Dan, is the one who posted about grandma’s “savage” ranking system that she displays on the wall. He proudly showed his ranking at number 4, which according to him, is the highest he’s ever been, haha.
But now that he’s got two new tattoos he fears he might slip, lol.
And that’s exactly what happened when he showed his “nanny” the tattoos. She gasped her breath and without even the slightest hesitation, moved his picture to the number 10 spot.
Aww, yikes!
Don’t feel too bad for Dan, though, as this is all good fun. I bet grandma is having a ball moving her grandkids’ pictures all around. That way, if you piss her off, you’ll lose your coveted spot, haha.

Apparently, your ranking will also depend on different life events like certain milestones. So if you had babies, graduated, got a great job, or even visited grandma often, chances are you’ll go up in ranking.
That seems fair to me.
So what about the great-grandkids? Do they get to be on the board too? No, way, according to Dan. They’re way cuter than everyone, so they would automatically outrank them all, haha! Oh, yeah! I can totally see that happening, alright.
After Dan posted the video it quickly went viral on Tiktok.
A lot of people had a good laugh about this. They all said that this grandma was a genius and that they might steal this idea when they get to have grandkids. I don’t know about you, but I love it too.
